I've had to focus on the idea of interpretation for weeks now because of our English unit; Hamlet.
It got me thinking; so many things are up to interpretation everyday.. how do you interpret a photograph? or a song lyric? What about when you see a facial expression on a person in public, or the way they dress or act; how do you interpret what their manner says about what their lives have involved? The following photographs were taken on Anzac day in the city.
There is a particular time of the year when MLC School puts aside an entire week in dedication to the less fortunate people of developing countries. During this week - also known as 'Rainbow Week' - the entire school fundraises. Service groups get together and provide ways for people to donate money but enjoy themselves at the same time. Throughout the week, our school indulged on lots of food, enjoyed many physical and mental activities, consumed plenty of coffee, painted one another, ran a muck and evidently fundraised a whole bundle of money. The Friday, at the end of the week is always the busiest day of them all, especially being a mufti day. It is infamous for the muck it creates - hundreds of girls dancing around the extremely loud music, blaring. Here are some of the photos form the day. Most are of my beautiful friends.
