They are of my younger cousins.

While they kept entertained, attempting to play the guitar & pinning needles to the fly-screen of my window...

I happily snapped away with the camera.

These photographs were actually samples for Medium Format film shots.

I shall hopefully post them up once I get my negatives back from developing.

Yes, just another evening with my darling ellie belle.

I'm fairly certain that I'll never get sick of spending night's like these with him.

However, this time, it wasn't just any other night.

We we're kinda celebrating something a little more special...

Our 1 year anniversary!

We bought a new camera together.

Yes, a Mamiya RZ67. Medium Format. Uhmmm, yeah, not even best on the market.

The photos taken tonight were mainly just test shots to get the correct light exposure.

Yes, the next purchase shall be a light meter.

Here are a couple of portraits taken roughly a week ago.
They are of my cousin, William, who lives in Queensland.
The only light used was a lamp without it's shade.
Fairly decent if you ask me.

Yesterday morning, I got up fairly early.

I didn't do this out of habitual sleeping patterns.

I just decided that I was going to take some photos of the sunrise.

And I was able to do this, finally - with all my proper gear.
