Bienvenue !

Salut! Welcome to our brand new blog, Charlie&Lola!
We wanted to start this blog as a place to share all the things we both love and have a passion for;
art, photography, design, music and cute French odds and ends.
Our names are actually Elliot & Alexandra, but for now you can call us Charlie & Lola respectively...
Nice to meet you! We both live and study at school in Sydney, Australia, which is just lovely.
The beach, the culture and the arts are just amazing. Why don't we talk a little about ourselves? Okay!

Well i'm Elliot (Charlie), I am a 17 year old Photographer, artist, musician and student living in Sydney, just near Bondi Beach. I have been interested in photography for over a year now, and have been lucky enough to have some of my early works published and even purchased. More than anything, I love portraiture. Give me a film camera and some black and white Ilford and i'm a happy chap. I'm currently in my last year of school and am planning to study photography at UTS! At the moment, I am working on my major work for my HSC, which is very very exciting! For it, I am focusing on people and their influence on other people. In the process I will be taking hundreds of photos, some of which i'll post here! So I hope you enjoy my photos!

And I'm Alexandra (Lola), not yet 17 years of age, living in the inner-western suburbs of Sydney. I am a candidate of the IB DIploma Program, completing my foundation year at MLC School. I'm hoping to pursue a career in the field of either Art, Design or Communications. Of all the things that I find admiringly interesting, my two most notable influences would undoubtedly be the French culture and the fine arts itself. With these two things brought forward it is somewhat obvious that I am fond of travelling. My enthusiasm for photography has only recently been established. However, I am an eager learner. The French culture on the other hand, continues to rouse me. In a few years time, I plan on moving over there and continue living immersed in their culture and their ways. My photographs are representative of my influences, thoughts and aspirations. So, hopefully you can relish them as much as I do. :)
